'59 Data Admin & Tech Support - Blood Donors

Pete Stout ('59 Data Administrator) and his wife, Elaine (Technical Support), are long time blood donors and even longer time baseball fans. They usually donate with the Red Cross but twice a year they donate with Inova (Northern Virginia hospital system) at Nationals Park. In August 2015, they were selected via drawing (8 winners from 1200 blood donor entries) to see a game from a cool suite (had a chef in suite the entire game; super stocked beer and wine refrig!), attend Batting Practice, meet some of the players and take all the pictures their iPads could handle.

Unknown to them, the following year (2016)-- the group photo taken in 2015 -- was used for announcing and advertising for the June 2016 Blood Drive. Look closely at the photo and you'll see Pete and Elaine in the lower right corner (the two with the grey shirts and big curly . Donating blood is its own reward, but winning the drawing and attending the August 25, 2015 game was a highlight in their baseball annals.
